During the election I came across some hilarious commentary by Ze Frank about the debates and ever since I’ve been enjoying my Youtube subscription to his channel and the video I came across today just stuck with me and I needed to share! It’s about KINDNESS! And during this time of fresh starts with the New Year and resolutions I think it’s such a great message!
Check it out below!
While the entire message stands out to me, I did pull an awesome quote that I’d love to share and hope you enjoy whether or not you watch the video!
“Kindness – It’s like little rays of light that emanate out from the interactions you have with people, maybe little candles that light inside them…You can tell the people that have had a lot of experience with kindness, they glow like they do have a lot of tiny little candles burning inside of them.” – Ze Frank
Pass on the kindness and start glowing and seeing others glow!
Yesterday, on facebook I was asked a crucial question. If Pshiiit had to choose 5 or 6 colors Essie maximum, which would it be? Tart Deco is instinctively that came in first. You know my love for non-delicate pink, which I willingly abandoned for all that is blue / green / blue-green … Well Tart Deco is one of those pink-coral-orange that makes me love this color range. It is like no other color for me, it has the nuance that fits perfectly to my skin (at least when the latter is slightly tanned. The I grant you, it is rather mortis ^ ^), it punchy is just right, and admit it, it is likely archi ^ ^.
So I wanted to highlight the following issue to remind you how nice it is to the finish (a little late) of beautiful days. I wanted to make an accent on the forefinger nail by placing the tape striping. I was planning to spend a white layer and then remove it, and finally I found ca pretty as is, so I left. After laying the Tart Deco (two layers) I spent a layer of Top Coat Velvet from Chanel, and I aaaaaaaaime rendering Tart Deco matte! Moreover, talking about Chanel, I saw the visual June, and I think he has a small air Tart Deco. Here is the result picture :)
This color is hard enough to take a picture, at least I have not managed to set the camera to his chopper TRUE color, in reality it is more flashy and a little more orange. Finally with my eyes! ^ ^
Have a great week, and tomorrow for the second competition that will make you scream! ^ ^
FYI, the Tart Deco is still on sale for € 5 at M & B ^ ^.
So the other day Paul and I completed our first Pinterest Project, the Photo Heart! And I think the relevance of having Pinterest is to be able to achieve those things we think would be great for our life, whether it be for our home, for our taste buds, for wearing or just for fun!
I think I will make this a regular thing, to “achieve” a Pinterest on a monthly, bi-weekly, or even weekly basis. Hopefully more often than not, but we will see as we go. One day when I was searching for the Pinterest logo, I stumbled upon this image (below), and I think this was created by someone with a lack of drive and motivation.
Well, I have achieved three Pinterests last week and have several others in the works! First was our Photo Heart for our bedroom wall…
Second was purchasing this super cool shirt from Forever 21(it was only $23 including tax and shipping – and I probably could have gone to the store for it… but I was impatient and wanted to be absolutely sure I didn’t miss out!).
I think Pinterest is all about collaboration and inspiration! THere are not to many original things out there anymore, but there is definitely individual personality, desire and achievement, and Pinterest is totally helping me achieve!
The Wall Street Journal is providing some awesome fall inspiration, and this one, of many caught my eye! It sounds delicious and beautiful all at once, to have the fragrant herbs and flowers to create a beautiful home arrangement!
WSJ: Herb & Flower Arrangements – “Mint and basil are flowering, autumn is releasing its early blooms—now is the moment to combine them. New York flower expert Nicolette Owen explains the basic steps.”
For details about how to make the pictured arrangement read on!
Mint and Lavender + Pom-Pom Dahlias + GrassStep One: Start with a slightly asymmetrical base of greens. We used flowering mint. Leave some stems nice and tall so the arrangement will be taller than the pitcher. Step Two: Place your large showy blooms throughout the base of greens. We used pom pom dahlias. Play with the directions of the “face” of the flowers so they are not all looking the same way. Step Three: Finish the arrangement with a bold gesture of grass to balance the shape of the pitcher. Sprinkle little sprigs of flowering lavender throughout to add some extra fragrance.

I’ll definitely post a pic when I get the opporunity to make my own arrangement!
