Congratulations to Liz and Josh! What a Beautiful Wedding!

This past weekend Paul and I were down in St. Simon's Island for a wedding! Liz (the bride) was a previous co-worker of Paul's and she asked if he would do the honor of photographing her big day. Liz and Josh were married at Villa De Suenos, a gorgeous luxury oceanfront home in St. Simon's Island. It was a beautiful estate, amazing weather, and a very sweet intimate ceremony.

We were very excited to be able to share in Liz and Josh's big day! Take a peak at some of the beautiful images from the wedding!

The location was amazing! I would love to go back for a week vaca/couple's retreat! Wouldn't that be fun!?

Paul's Cranking Out Some AMAZING Artwork!

While down in the St. Simon's Island area for a wedding, Paul and I had the opportunity to tour around Jekyll Island.  Neither of us had ever been before, so we thought it would be a great new place to check out! For only being seven miles long, it's definitely a photographer's dream, and has plenty more activities that would definitely bring Paul and I back again in the future!

So on to the images! I think we are going to get one blown up as a 30 x 40 for over our bed! Which do you think we should get?? See the full gallery here!

I love the ones with the driftwood, there is a Dali feel, but they also feel so desolate, and I don't know if I want that over my bed!

The tree ones are beautiful, and you'd have to imagine them in black and white b/c that is how we would have the one for the bedroom done!

We really need a horizontal one, but I do love this one! It's got so much color and dynamic! You should definitely check out the full gallery here!

And if you are interested in purchasing prints or canvases of Paul's work contact him via his website paulperdue.com.

Hope you enjoy!

We Finally Got Our Wedding Album!

Paul and I were married on November 13th of last year. It took us a while to get our wedding album design done, but I put the deadline of Mother's Day out there and we met it! We decided to buy an album for each of our Mom's for Mother's day and they were so excited. But after spending the money on that, we really didn't want to invest in one for ourselves just yet!

But it turned out great that we waited cause, the company (Blurb.com) we use to publish our albums has come out with a "proline" with a pearl paper. I was so excited to see that and was totally ready to order it and we did! It was delivered yesterday and look look, it's WONDERFUL!

You can check out the full digital click-through of the album here...

Paul does amazing photography and just as amazing design  albums! Whether or not you have him photograph your wedding or event, he could certainly design you an amazing album! Check out his photography site and albums to find out more!

Can't Wait for the Fall Line-Up ;o)

While I do love the reality shows, particularly, the Bachelorette, Love in the Wild and Master Chef, I am sincerely ready for the fall prime-time line-up to start back up! I am a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan and can't wait for that to come back. But there are lot of new shows coming this fall that I am super excited to see!

Grey's Anatomy: Last season ended as usual with unanswered questions! With Meredith's tapering of the Alzheimer's trial and Derek questioning her as a doctor, wife and mother - the future of Meredith's career, marriage and how they will handle having gotten that adorable little girl, is all uncertain. Callie and Arizona were married just after Callie had the baby (not before the awful car accident). I imagine the drama will them will calm. But now the question of having a child looms with Yang and Owen. Lexie is now with Avery, but I really do think she is still in love with Sloan, and belongs with him! And then there is Teddy and her "Husband" who I really want her to have a happily ever after with.

Now previews I've seen, show Meredith fired, Derek no-where to be found relative to their newly adopted daughter, Yang still questioning being a mother, and other drama with Karev. In any case, I'm so ready for it to be back on! Premiere is September 22nd for two whole hours!

HOUSE: House is the other show I don't like to miss! I won't go into a full recap, because the story line fluctuates so much, but I do remember that he ran a car into Cuddy's dining room on the season finale, and I can't imagine how things will change! But rumor has it, she is not coming back, and neither are some others! Season Premiere is October 3rd.

New Girl! I LOVE Zoey Deschanel. She always seems to be a supporting actress, but I think this will be a very fun light-hearted show, that will be worth the watchin! Jess (Zoey's character), is a socially awkward gal who moves in with three bachelors after getting dumped by her boyfriend. Apparently the guys only take in her mess because her BFF is a model. But they soon come to appreciate Jess' quirkiness (you mean Zooey's - she was awesome in Failure to Launch) and try to help her re-enter the dating scene. I think this will be a super fun light-hearted show that Paul may even enjoy watching with me! Season Premiere September 20th!

Once Upon a Time:  This just looks like a really cool drama that intertwines fantasy with real life, and I'm definitely more and more excited, the more I see! "The fantastical drama, which will tell dual stories set in present-day Storybrooke and in fairy tale land, comes from Lost writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for lots of references to time travel and polar bears." - As noted on TVGuide.com. Season Premiere is October 25th!

Pan Am: This looks like another good one from ABC! Set in the '60s, the drama centers on the loves and lives of stewardesses of the iconic titular airline. Although lauded as symbols of sleek, Jet Age glamour, their personal lives are full of turbulence. And it's got Christina Ricci in it! She's been hibernating for what seems to be a while, so it will be cool to see her back in  this awesome new drama! And Paul will probably watch this one too, cause he likes Christina Ricci! Premiere is September 25th!

There are so many new shows coming out, this is only the tip of the iceberg of what we'll be watching! Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings... DO NOT DISTURB... Wednesdays will be a free for-all (whatever can keep my attention - Probably X-Factor and Happy Endings) In any case, I am so ready for some real dramas to start... enough of the reality TV.

Can't wait!

PCB Trip this Past Weekend...

Paul has gotten a lot of business photographing properties, for sale and for rent, and got a gig to photograph some property in PCB. Paul's parent's already have a condo down there, so it's minimal expense when available, and it's a great way for PerdueVision to increase business!

Even though it was just for the weekend, you just can't say no to the opportunity to go to the beach! We had the privilege of spending the weekend with John and Elaine Hoyt, and it was a lot of fun working with them as well as hanging out with them! Hopefully Paul and Elaine can drum up more business at the beach so we can take more trips to the beach for a bit of business and a bit more pleasure!

Check out some pics from our mini vaca to PCB! The water was amazing! The waves were so calm, e were able to lay on floats in the ocean, it was great!

And if you are either looking for beach rentals or property photography, we've got what you need! Check out CondosForVacation for rentals, and PerdueVision for everything else!

A Chorus Line @ The Aurora Theatre

Paul's and my parents have season tickets for the Aurora Theatre and on several occasions they've invited Paul and I out to the shows. There have been mostly good, some not so good, but nothing that I would consider spectacular. But Friday night we went to see A Chorus Line, and I've been excited about this show because I really do love the story, and my Mom has said that this is the biggest cast they've ever had at Aurora Theater.

So, what did we think?? It was.........

Well, kind of long. I must say I really did enjoy Marissa Druzbanski who played Diana Morales. She had a great voice and really called our attention for both her solo segments. I especially loved her montage "Nothing."

Generally the cast provided a well-rounded show, but of all the shows I've seen at the Aurora, this was just another "Good" show. I may just be more of a Fox and Broadway lover and even more so a lover of movies...

OMG I want these so BAD!
